PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage dehydration device capable of thinning a gear constituting a gear wheel row as well as continuing dehydration as rotation by inertia force of a dewatering cage even when rotation of a manual lever, etc. is prevented with no reason with no nonconformity even when the manual lever is made contact with while the manual lever is rotated by the inertia force of the dewatering cage and a dish is carelessly placed in a rotating locus of the manual lever. SOLUTION: This garbage dehydration device is constituted by arranging a one-way clutch constituted of a coil spring 63, a small diametrical gear 61 and a large diametrical gear 62 in a speed-increasing wheel row 10 to transmit output from the manual lever 3 to the dewatering cage 8 and is devised so that rotation by the inertia force of the dewatering cage 8 is allowed even when rotation of the manual lever 3 is prevented.
