<p>Knitted components (3 to 8), e.g. for the front (1) of a garment, have perforations along the edges for fitting joining devices such as thread, ribbon or strips, to allow the pieces to be assembled in different combinations of color or pattern. The perforations are spaced 0.3 to 1.5 cm apart. Alternatively the joins can be made by knitting, darning, crochet work, buttons or by zip, pressure, or hook and loop fastener.</p> |
