<p>It is intended to provide a novel means whereby a biomaterial containing a physiologically active protein holding its activity and function can be conveniently obtained. This physiologically active biomaterial can be obtained from a transgenic silkworm carrying in its genome a fused polynucleotide encoding a fused protein of silk fibroin with the physiologically active protein and contains a recombinant silk protein containing the above-described fused protein as the main component.</p>
