<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development device capable of storing spare toner inside the device, using a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: The development device 40 includes a first toner storage chamber 64 and a magnet storage chamber 68, separated from the first storage chamber 64 by a partition wall 66. A magnet support 72 is disposed in the magnet storage chamber 68. The magnet support 72 has a body 74 whose shape is, for example, cylindrical, and a support shaft 76 disposed in the center of the body 74 and supported by a cartridge case 62 so as to freely rotate.
