LENS ARRAY

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens array by which sensitivity can be improved when the lens array is used for a solid state imaging device and the luminance of a screen can be improved when the lens array is used for a liquid crystal display element. SOLUTION: The lens array is constituted by arraying a plurality of condenser lenses in vertical and horizontal directions and the respective condenser lenses are used by being installed so as to correspond one to one to the respective elements arrayed on a two-dimensional plane. The condenser lenses include the first lens formed approximately in the central part of a region corresponding to the pixel and the second lenses formed in the regions at four corners where the first lens is not formed among the regions. The first lens is a convex lens and the second lenses formed at the four corners have a common center of curvature. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
