PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel epoxide or a mixture thereof which can be industrially easily produced at a relatively low cost and is useful as a raw material of an acrylic monomer, an adhesive composition, a biodegradable polymer, etc., and a cured product thereof. SOLUTION: The epoxide is represented by formula (1) (wherein (C<SB>3</SB>H<SB>4</SB>O<SB>2</SB>) is a lactic acid residue; X is a residue of a compound whose terminus forms a cyclic ether; and n is an integer of 1-10).
