<p>A buckle device enabling the head of a long webbing belt to be attached to and removed from a predetermined portion of a vehicle. The buckle device has a device body to which a tongue plate, with which the head of the webbing belt is engaged, is inserted from the head side; a lock mechanism that restricts, by engaging with the tongue plate, the movement of the tongue plate in the direction of coming out from the device body and mechanically connects the tongue plate to the device body, a release mechanism that releases, by displacement in the release direction, the engagement of the lock mechanism with the tongue plate, and a restriction mechanism that, with the lock mechanism engaged with the tongue plate, engages with the release mechanism and restricts the displacement of the release mechanism in the release direction.</p> |
