<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake device of an outboard motor allowing adjustment of throttle opening by an actuator, facilitating fine adjustment of intake air flow at the time of small opening of a throttle valve which was difficult in the past and thereby facilitating fine adjustment of an engine revolution speed at a low revolution range including idling operation. <P>SOLUTION: The device comprises a throttle electric motor (40) for driving the throttle valve (72) disposed in an intake pipe (100) of an engine (16), a secondary air passage (120) connected to the intake pipe (100) at a position downstream of the throttle valve (72) and a manual valve (122) disposed in the secondary air passage (120) and adjustable of its opening area by a driver.
