PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the quality of plating in the surface of a ferro-manganese-aluminum alloy, to reduce the probability for the plating layer to be peeled off, and further to relatively increase its corrosion resistance by maintaining the activation in the surface of the ferro-manganese-aluminum alloy and by avoiding its blunting further again, thus improving the adhesive properties of the plating layer in the succeeding plating. SOLUTION: This surface plating treatment method for the ferro-manganese-aluminum alloy comprises: a stage where the surface of the ferro-manganese-aluminum alloy is washed; a stage where, utilizing an alkaline solution, oils and fats in the surface of the ferro-manganese-aluminum alloy are removed, and simultaneously, the surface of the ferro-manganese-aluminum alloy is activated; a stage where the surface of the ferro-manganese-aluminum alloy is activated utilizing an electrolysis system of the alkaline solution; and a stage where the surface of the ferro-manganese-aluminum alloy is subjected to plating.
