PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light and low-costed simple aligning hanger for an overhead conveyor having a mechanism capable of easily aligning with manual operation. SOLUTION: This simple aligning hanger for an overhead conveyor is provided with a rotation preventing mechanism structured of a support frame 9 suspended by a carrier going round in the overhead conveyor, a pole member 1 formed of a bar supported by the support frame 9 in both ends thereof and having holes 8 opened in the axial direction of the bar with the predetermined interval, a slider 2 sliding in the axial direction on the peripheral surface of the pole member 1, a stopper 3 fixed to the slider 2 and having a slide preventing pin to be fitted in the hole 8 and capable of putting the slide preventing pin in/out of the hole 8 with one operation of a worker, a work suspending part 6 fixed to the slider 2 to suspend the work 7, a slit 5 formed in the slider 2 and having a long side in the slide direction, and a rotation preventing pin 4 fitted in the slit 5 and fixed to the pole member 1.
