PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arc welding robot which can stably feed a welding wire and can avoid the interference of a connecting cable/hose with external equipment. SOLUTION: This arc welding robot comprises a robot body which can swing by means of a rotary pipe shaft holding a wire feeding device and having a hollow portion, and passes a connecting cable and/or a gas hose through the hollow portion of the rotary pipe shaft from a forearm portion to the inside of a base portion, and a protective cover for protecting the connecting cable/hose located in the passage from the connecting portion of the wire feeding device and the connecting cable/hose to the rotary pipe shaft.
