<p>The plug casing (3) is connected to a pressed bush (11). This prevents axial sliding , but allows rotation about the longitudinal axis of the cable connector (1). A sealed-off connection is formed. The groove (12) in the plug casing (3) accommodates a ring seal (13), preferably an O-ring. The casing is overlapped by the internal ring (14) of the pressed bush, so that on completion of the pressing operation, the internal ring engages into the groove and pre-compresses the ring seal. This precompression is designed to achieve a given value of holding friction.</p> |
