PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sliding failure that is caused to occur by dust particles that enter a gap between a brush holder and a carbon brush. SOLUTION: The brush holder 1a is constituted of a base 12 which is fixed with screws and the like to a prescribed position near a commutator of the carbon brush 8 to support the bottom surface of the carbon brush 8, and a frame 13, which is mounted over the base portion 12 to hold the other three surfaces of the carbon brush 8. By mounting the frame 13 over the base 12, a guide hole 5 is formed which guides the carbon brush 8 slidably only in a prescribed direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
