PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct camera shake with high precision, by enabling an operator to accurately designate the direction and degree of the camera shake with an each operation. SOLUTION: An image before correction and an image after correction, resulting from execution of a camera shake correction routine are displayed in a "manual correction" window. The image before correction has a layer formed therein, and contour image data showing a contour of the image before correction is displayed in the layer. The operator moves a contour image on the layer by dragging the contour image. The contour of a corner of a piano (the position of a cursor CS) is fitted to an edge EG of a blurred part of the corner by the dragging operation as shown in Figure.
