PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a flowerpot with a plant, wherein a scion is covered with a urethane foam and pushed into a flowerpot so as to fix the urethane foam and the scion in the pot and the scion is rooted. SOLUTION: The size of a urethane foam 2 for covering a scion 1 of a plant is made larger than the inner size of the flowerpot for planting so as to be a such size that the urethane foam does not slip out from the pot by resilience of the urethane foam when put in the flowerpot, a notch for covering the scion of the plant is provided on the urethane foam, the scion of the plant is put in the notch 3 of the urethane foam, and the urethane foam wrapping the scion of the plant is pushed in the flowerpot 4 so that the urethane foam and the scion are fixed in the flowerpot.
