A tire information transmission device is installed in a tire cavity region surrounded by a tire inner peripheral surface and a wheel wall surface and detects atmospheric information in the tire cavity region to transmit it to outside the tire cavity region by radio. The tire information transmission device has a sensor for detecting atmospheric information in the tire cavity region, a circuit board having a processing circuit for processing a detection signal of the sensor and having a transmission circuit for transmitting the processed signal by radio, and a battery for supplying power for driving the processing circuit and the transmission circuit. The battery is made as a thin plate-shaped sealed body, having a thin plate surface, by sealing constitution members of the battery by an insulation film. The ratio of the area of the thin plate surface of the sealed body to the thickness of the thin plate shape is not less than 200 mm, and the mass of the battery is not more than 5 g. A tire information acquisition system has the tire information transmission device and a reception device for receiving a signal from the tire information transmission device.
