SCAVENGER FOR HEAVY METALS AND SEPARATION/REMOVAL METHOD FOR HEAVY METALS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scavenger which is capable of effectively utilizing organic waste by using the organic waste as a raw material and is suitable for removal of heavy metals existing in a water system, soil, or else.

SOLUTION: RDF (resorce description framework) is entered into a raw material supply feeder 102, is supplied to a primary carbonization furnace 104 comprising a rotary kiln and is subjected to a primary carbonization. The obtained primary carbonized material 105 is disintegrated minutely by a disintegrator 106 and is sufficiently mixed with a binder supplied from a binder supply feeder 120. The mixture is formed by using a briquette forming machine 122 and is carbonized in a carbonization furnace 128 comprising a rotary kiln, and thereby the scavenger 150 for heavy metals are obtained.
