PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the clogging of a liquid crystal cell between a conveying roller and a pressing roller, to prevent a liquid crystal cell from bending in the carrying direction, and to prevent cracks or chips of a liquid crystal cell due to collision of liquid crystal cells consecutively carried in a single-wafer liquid crystal cell cleaning apparatus. SOLUTION: The entering resistance on a liquid crystal cell 10 is decreased by attaching a pressing member 115 to a roller core 114 to enlarge a size in the diameter direction. A plurality of pressing members 115 are disposed separated from one another, which reduces the contact area between the pressing member 115 and the liquid crystal cell 10 to decrease the entrance resistance and to realize stable carrying.
