PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top-hinged swinging door device capable of surely preventing the rolling motion of a top-hinged swinging door during the opening and closing thereof, having the excellence in silence and execution efficiency and being manufactured at a low cost for the top-hinged swinging door device capable closing a gap made between the lower end edge and a floor surface in the case the top-hinged swinging door is closed. SOLUTION: In the top-hinged swinging door device having a self closing function, a guide groove led to a guide roller of a guide member fixed to the floor surface or the like and opening the lower surface provided to the lower end section of the top-hinged swinging door over the opening and closing direction and a gap closing section provided to the lower end section of the top-hinged swinging door in parallel to the guide groove and the longitudinal direction are included, the gap closing section includes a gap closing member held in a liftable manner, a working member lowering the gap closing member by abutting on the guide member in the case the top-hinged swinging door is closed and an energizing means energized so that the gap closing member can always maintain a rising position, and self-closing force of the top-hinged swinging door greater than energizing force of the energizing means is set.
