PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element capable of obtaining uniform light emission from a lighting face. SOLUTION: One of the light emitting elements has a layer composed of a polymer gel between a pair of electrodes. The element is characterized by infiltrating a solution containing a light emitting material into the gel. Also, one of the light emitting elements has a layer containing the polymer gel and a spacer.
