PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier device of a belt conveyor free to use on a carrier route including curves having various curvatures without damaging a belt and a belt conveyor using it. SOLUTION: The carrier device 10 of the belt conveyor and the belt conveyor 101 using it are constituted of a pedestal 1 and a carrier part 2 placed above the pedestal and are furnished with a pair of height adjusting mechanisms 30a, 30b to connect pedestal side oscillating connection parts 5, 5 provided on the pedestal 1 and carrier side oscillating connection parts 6, 6 provided on a carrier part 2 to each other and to adjust an oscillating angle of the carrier part 2 against the pedestal 1 at a facing position holding a central axis in the carrier direction of the belt 7. The carrier part 2 is inclined against the pedestal 1 by adjusting it so that the outer peripheral side of the belt 7 becomes lower against the inner peripheral side of the belt 7 by a pair of the height adjusting mechanisms 30a, 30b.
