The holder (10) consists of a moulding with a support (12) and a base section (20). To the base section is fitted a cover (22) joined to it by a solid hinge (24). The base section forms a cradle into which the end section (18) of a sleeve (14) of a control cable (14). In pressing down the cover (22), so that it clips in position, the sleeve is held in position.
