A switching system for automatically switching a liquid output line (6) between a number of input lines (3A, 3B) connected to beer kegs (1A, 1B). A control system (25) automatically detects when it is necessary to switch from one keg to another. When an empty keg is replaced, a fresh keg is connected to the system. A gas valve (13) is controlled automatically so that after the fresh keg and the input line have been primed the supply of gas to the fresh keg is terminated, and so that when there is a subsequent switch so that the keg is connected to the output line the supply of gas to the fresh container is commenced again. An optional logging module (58) can communicate with a logger (61) attached to a keg. |
