<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a flexible pipe by which a flexible pipe showing high pressure resistance and sealing properties can be manufactured with diminished energy loss and high production efficiency and a device using this method. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing a flexible pipe comprises the steps to insert an inner pipe 3 into a flexible metallic outer pipe 2, then to bring the inner pipe 3 into contact tightly with the internal peripheral face of the outer pipe 21 by expanding the inner pipe 3 in the diametral direction by applying pressure and heat, and to form a sealing layer 5 on the internal peripheral face of the outer pipe 2. In this method, the outer pipe 2 into which the inner pipe 3 is inserted is heated from outside, and the inner pipe 3 is expanded by the pressurized gas inside the inner pipe 3.</p> |
