PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for roof balconies in their simplest, lowest-cost and shortest-time reform work. SOLUTION: A girder block made of a plurality of beams arranged at a prescribed vertical interval is constructed at a prescribed area on the beams of building skeleton. Floor beams are laid among these block girders and a rigid floor as an underfloor member is constructed directly on these floor beams. Further a waterproof heat insulation material is laid over the rigid floor and handrails are provided around the beam block to construct a roof balcony. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
