PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing device for a man conveyor structured so that a user can obtain interesting information, while riding on the man conveyor, without getting tired by switching a display for displaying information selected by the user in response to movement of the user. SOLUTION: In this man conveyor, the displays 7 are arranged with the predetermined interval in a progressing direction of a moving sidewalk 1, and an information selecting board 5 is provided in a landing of the moving sidewalk 1. An information display device control unit 9 is provided to read out display data of the provided information corresponding to the selected menu from a database 10 on the basis of a menu selecting signal from the information selecting board 5 and to display the provided information in the display 7 on the basis of the read-out display data. The information display device control unit 9 controls drive of the display 7 so that display of the provided information is transferred one by one to the display 7 positioned forward in the progressing direction in response to progress of a travelling passage.
