<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile box apparatus for work which secures the space of a ground side by eliminating a permanent ground apparatus, which maintains a scenery, and which reduces the size of a storage box underground to enable to be installed even on a narrow width pedestrian walkway, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The box apparatus includes the storage box 12 which is closed at its upper surface by a top plate 16 buried underground, and a base 14 which mounts an apparatus contained in the storage box and connected with a communication line, a power line, etc. The base 14 is provided so that, as the top plate 16 moves, the base 14 can enter/exit into/from the storage box 12 and a ground R side. An input part is provided in the top plate installed on the ground side. The top plate itself moves up and down by an input operation through this input part.
