METHOD FOR SUPPRESSING CADMIUM ABSORPTION OF PADDY RICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for suppressing cadmium absorption of paddy rice having sufficient suppressing effect on cadmium absorption, stably retaining the effect for a long period and promoting the growth of paddy rice. SOLUTION: This method for suppressing cadmium absorption of paddy rice comprises applying a calcic material and a plaster material together for soil. As for calcium carbonate, calcium carbonate for flue-gas desulfurization for thermal power plants obtained by bringing limestone into fine powder is used. As for the plaster material, gypsum dihydrate obtained by neutralizing sulfuric acid with calcium carbonate is used. The product of T factory of S company is used for ALC (autoclaved lightweight concrete) powder fertilizer. A commercial product is used for calcium silicate fertilizer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
