<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antireflection film having low reflection and antiglare effects, and its manufacturing method, and also to provide a polarizer plate and display device using this antireflection film. <P>SOLUTION: The polarizer plate 1 has an antireflection film 10 on a TAC2, and the 2nd antireflection layers 7 constituting the coated particles 5 and made of a hydrophobic material. Since a hard coat layer 3 is hard to stick to the 2nd antireflection layers 7, the low reflection effect of the 2nd antireflection layer 7 is not degraded by the sticking hard coat layer 3.
