<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer for printing a long-size base material with an RFID device mounted thereon without impairing a communication function of the RFID device and also cutting the base material at appropriate points thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A printer 10 comprises at least a conveyor means 11 for conveying the base material 20; a printing means 12 for printing the base material 20; a first identifying means 13 for identifying information (A) about printing of the base material 20; a first determining means 14 for deciding a position to attach the RFID device on the basis of the information (A); an attaching means 15 for attaching the RFID device on the base material 20 on the basis of a signal from the first determining means 14; a second identifying means 16 for identifying information (B) possessed by the RFID stuck to the base material 20; a second determining means 17 for deciding points to cut the base material 20 on the basis of the information (B); and a cutting means 19 for cutting the base material 20 on the basis of a signal from the second cutting means 17 to single pieces. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
