<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminator for a display device wherein luminance unevenness on an information display surface is prevented by securing positional accuracy of a light source lamp, light leakage caused by a lamp supporting part is reduced, influence of luminance reduction and luminance unevenness is reduced and excellent display quality can be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: In the illuminator for the display device having the light source lamp and the lamp supporting part, the lamp supporting part has (1) a form wherein a fixing pin is disposed in a position except the position nearly directly under the light source lamp, or (2) a form wherein the lamp supporting part is formed by using a reflective material, or a form combined thereby. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
