PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging method easily storing contents such as cherries. SOLUTION: The packaging method comprises steps of: putting the contents A in a box-like packaging assisting tool 100 having an upper surface opened; thereafter covering the assisting tool 100 from its opening side with an outer packaging box 11 having a flat plate-like bottom plate, a front side plate, a back side plate, a left side plate and a right side plate standing from the periphery of the bottom plate; turning over the outer box 11 with the contents A held by the assisting tool 100; thereafter pulling out the tool 100 upward from the box 11 to store the contents A in the box 11; and then putting a sheet-like transparent cover 12 over the upper surface of the outer packaging box 11.
