PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve work efficiency of inspection work by easily inspecting an engine or a device disposed in its vicinity. SOLUTION: A box mounting part 22 of a driver's seat pedestal 25 provided to cover the front part of an engine 7 is provided with an inspection port 22D positioned in the vicinity of an alternator 9, and the inspection port 22D is covered with an inspection cover 30 removably fitted to the box mounting part 22. Thus, the inspection cover 30 is removed from the box mounting part 22 to easily perform inspection work and maintenance work for the alternator 9 covered with the driver's seat pedestal 25 from the inspection port 22D.
