The holder has a base plate connected with a knife bar of a slitter that has parallel ducts which guide guide rods that are attached with a piston/cylinder unit by a servo threading spindle (2). The spindle is designed as a drive for a display scroller (7) that is arranged in an upper side of a cylinder (1) with marks corresponding to upper knives at an outer edge, where the marks are viewable in a cutting-view window (5) of a cover.
