<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication terminal capable of carrying out transmission / reception with a plurality of frequencies, wherein the power consumption is reduced in a standby state. <P>SOLUTION: The radio communication terminal is configured of: a high frequency section; a signal processing section; a control section; a power supply section; a SW section; and a signal level detection section, supplies power only to the signal level detection section in a standby state, and when the signal level detection section detects a signal level of a threshold value or over, the SW section supplies power to the signal processing section, the control section, and the high frequency section corresponding to a detected frequency band to attain the transmission / reception of the detected frequency band signal. Thus, the radio communication terminal can act a standby operation by supplying power only to the signal level detection section without supplying power to the high frequency section in the standby state and supplies power to each function section corresponding to the frequency band of the detected signal only when the signal level detection section detects the signal level, then low power consumption can be realized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
