摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost reinforced porcelain which has bending strength after sintering of 170 MPa or higher, has excellent safety in breakdown of the reinforced porcelain substrate, and has a light transmittance, and to provide a manufacturing method of a reinforced porcelain which is excellent in the plasticity in the molding and can be fired at a lower temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The reinforced porcelain comprises 25-55 mass% of silicon dioxide, 40-70 mass% of aluminium oxide, 1-7 mass% of an alkali metal oxide and 0.5-6 mass% of magnesium oxide, each on an oxide basis, has a thermal expansion coefficient of 4.5&times;10<SP>-6</SP>/K or higher, and has mean bending strength of 170 MPa or higher. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
