PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas trap diagnostic device capable of diagnosing correctly whether its operation is right or not. SOLUTION: An inlet side piping 2 is provided with a holder 10 on which an ultrasonic transmitter/receiver 5 or 6 is freely detachably mounted. A handy ultrasonic vibration detector 7 is pressed against the upper surface of a gas trap 1, and detects the ultrasonic vibration generated from the fluid flowing in the gas trap 1. An ultrasonic transmitter/receiver 5 and the ultrasonic vibration detector 7 are connected with an operation display 4 the connection cords 13 and 16. In the case of measuring the liquid level of the condensed liquid in the inlet side piping 2, the ultrasonic transmitter/receiver 5 or 6 is attached to the holder 10. The vibration detector 7 is capable of determining whether the operation of the gas trap 1 is right or not, and also capable of measuring the amount of the condensed liquid in the inlet side piping 2 of the gas trap 1 with the ultrasonic transmitter/receiver 5 or 6 via the holder 10.
