<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a smooth work environment by enabling a user to previously and remotely instruct warmup start by using an electronic mail. <P>SOLUTION: Command mail with a command mail address which is an electronic mail address of a compound machine 100, as a command requesting warmup to the compound machine 100 set to a destination address is transmitted from a user terminal 501. Since the compound machine 100 has the command mail address as its own electronic mail address, the compound machine receives the command mail. The compound machine 100 then recognizes a request of warmup from the command mail address and starts warmup.
