<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the occurrence of fluctuations of a transfer delay of a control frame caused by the addition of a code area when a redundant code is added, and also, to surely establish the synchronization of time information between a master device and a slave device. <P>SOLUTION: The communication device is provided with a multiplexer 1 which outputs a control packet by multiplying the control packet in terms of time division to a data packet; a TS insertion part 2 which inserts the time information to the control packet outputted from the multiplexer 1; a redundant code adder 3 for outputting data packet and the control packet with the inserted time information which are outputted from the multiplexer 1 after adding redundant codes to them; and a speed adjuster 4 to execute speed adjustment for adding an idle time equivalent to a redundant code area amount which is added to the data packet or the control packet by a redundant code addition part 3 behind the packet when the data packet or the control packet is outputted from the multiplexer 1.
