[PROBLEMS] To provide a transmission device capable of using a high frequency and requiring easy circuit design. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The transmission device includes THP pre-coding means at the transmission side and equalizer means for analog processing at the reception side. Since the compensation of the frequency characteristic of the transmission path is performed by the THP pre-coding means at the transmission side and the equalizer means for analog processing at the reception side, i.e., the compensation is performed by the equalizer circuit, various merits can be obtained. The absolute value of the coefficient (al to an) of the THP is reduced. The THP loop stability is increased. A DAC of lower resolution can be used. Design of the equalizer circuit is simplified because fine adjustment for adaptation to the characteristic of the transmission path is performed by the THP and the equalizer circuit needs to perform only rough compensation or does not need to perform adjustment at all.
