PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellular telephone capable of contactless communication with an external device via a mounted antenna and IC card that can select the IC card to communicate with an external device and ON/OFF-control a response request from an external device even when a plurality of IC cards are stored in the cellular telephone.

SOLUTION: A portable terminal having an antenna part through which an IC card performs contactless communication with an external device comprises a plurality of IC card storage parts and a control part for controlling connection between a plurality of IC cards stored in the IC card storage parts and the antenna part. The IC cards can be selected for communication with an external device or be disconnected.
