<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an efficient rewrite processing of software between a first communications apparatus and a second communications apparatus for ensuring a compatibility of softwares. <P>SOLUTION: When a selection section 304, for realizing compatibility between a master unit 302 and a slave unit 303, transfers updating softwares 307, 308, 309, 310 from an updating software storage section 305 of the master unit 302 to a software storing section 315 of the slave unit 303 when there is no compatibility between the master unit 302 and the slave unit 303, in the updating softwares 307, 308, 309, 310 stored in the updating software storage section 305 of the master unit 302, softwares relating to non-compatible attributes which are decided as inhibiting compatibility by attributes, into which the functional information between the master unit 302 and the slave unit 303 is subdivided, are selected and transferred from the updating software storing section 305 of the master unit 302 to the software storing section 315 of the slave unit 303 via a transfer control section 312. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
