<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of accurately performing the AGC processing of an image reading sensor in an automatic document feeder even when a document exists inside the automatic document feeder when the power is turned on. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device, which is provided with the automatic document feeder in which the image reading sensor and a reference white member used for its AGC processing are arranged with a document feeding path between in the automatic document feeder, is provided with: a means for rotating a roller for ejecting an original out of the automatic document feeder for a predetermined time when the power is turned on; and a means for performing the AGC processing of the image reading sensor in the automatic document feeder after the lapse of the predetermined time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
