PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent appearance without making conspicuous a connection resin at joint parts when tile units formed by arranging and fixing a plurality of tiles and connected to each other with the connection resin are fixed to a base material through an adhesive agent layer. SOLUTION: In this building material, the tile units formed by arranging the plurality of tiles at prescribed joint intervals and connected to each other through the connection resin are fixed to the base material through the adhesive agent layer. A pattern formed of a plurality of projected irregular projected parts is formed on the adhesive agent layer. The projected parts are formed when an adhesive agent is applied thereto with a roller.
