PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure and evaluate noise emitted from drive units at high-speed rotation test close to an actual vehicle. SOLUTION: This rotation testing machine is an apparatus for testing rotations of a drive unit 4. The rotation testing machine is provided with: a drive motor 11 to be connected to a pinion axle 4a or an axile 4b of the drive unit 4; a dynamo 14 to be connected to the axile 4b or the pinion axle 4a of the drive unit 4; and connecting shaft parts 12 and 16 for connecting the drive motor 11 and the dynamo 14 to the pinion axle 4a or the axile 4b of the drive unit 4 via a joint 22. Connecting shafts of the connecting shaft parts 12 and 16 are supported by oil film bearings, and the connecting shaft parts 12 and 16 and the drive unit 4 are installed in an anechoic chamber 17. No-load/load rotation test is performed at a high speed exceeding 300 km/h close to an actual vehicle in a satisfactory environment without large noise from bearings, thereby accurately measuring and evaluating noise of the drive unit at rotation tests.
