<p>An authentication system for authenticating a computer user to a content server comprises an interface software program to be executed on a client computer for interfacing said client computer via a network to said content server and a digital identification key, said digital identification certificate cooperating with said interface software program for authenticating said user to said content server. According to the invention, that said interface software program and said digital identification key are installed on a removable storage medium to be associated with said client computer and configured so as to be executable directly from said removable storage medium.</p> |
