<p>A method for providing map data to be used in a navigation device divides an area, the map data of which is to be provided, into a plurality of sections in a plurality of division patterns, in which the divided sections do not overlap each other, and creates the map data individually corresponding to the sections divided in the plural division patterns. The method provides the map data corresponding to the individual sections divided into the plural division patterns, so that a user can select the map data at will.</p> |
