A shuttering panel has a main plate (2) made of wood or a wood product and is clad on the working face with metal foil (11) secured with adhesive. The foil is wrapped over the upper edge of the panel and over the side edges and stops just short of the bottom edge (8). This allows the foil to be easily slid onto the panel, and prevents damage to the bottom edge of the foil for shuttering positioned onto the ground. After use the panels are simply cleaned and reused.
