A system for efficient and non jamming handling of blister packs, e.g. for pharmaceutical applications, has blister strips (1) cut from a continuous feed strip (2) and transferred into stacking jigs (24, 25) on a conveyor feed using two radial suction arms (23, 24) rotating on a mounting plate (22) which rolls round the inside of an outer cylinder. This moves the suction grips (25, 26) on a cycloidal track with three outer points; a pick up point (A) from the cutter, a first dump point (B) for incorrectly filled blisters and a dropping point (C) for dropping strips into the stack guides. The suction arms are extended radially into the drop off point with the actual release point matched to the height of the stack to ensure that the strips are laid flat onto the stacks. A hinged frame (41) is swung to receive any empty blister strips and transfer them into a second dump chute (45).
