<p>A vegetation block comprising a block body (10) molded of concrete, and an outer layer body (20) being placed on the outer surface of the block body (10) when it is molded and formed of a mat-form fibrous aggregate F capable of growing a plant, wherein the outer layer body (20) is formed by inserting and pressing a large number of needles into the laminated fibrous aggregate F from above to allow longitudinal fibers to exist abundantly in the fibrous aggregate F of the outer layer body (20) so that fibers can penetrate into the concrete easily. Furthermore, aggregate having uniform grain size is employed in the concrete and porosity of the concrete is set at 10-25% so that the fibers of the outer layer body (20) can penetrate easily, and the outer layer body (20) is bonded surely without being stripped off easily and a plant growing on the fibrous aggregate is rooted surely.</p> |
